The "No Home" complaint is probably badly phrased. And it definitely needs an explanation. Sorry about that!

The basic idea is this: Subscribers want to have a town in a zone that's of an appropriate level for themselves. So a level 10 subscriber wants to have a home town in a region which has been zoned to include level 10 (so just 10 would be fine, or 9-11, or 1-50, or whatever).

Having more towns in one region won't help at all (at least, not for dealing with the "No Home" complaint). The important thing is to have at least one town that's appropriate for every level from 1 to the level of your most advanced subscriber.

Do note that not having a town available is intensely frusterating for players, and so they're likely to unsubscribe quickly if this happens. You probably always want to have a town or two which is zoned higher than your highest level players, so that they have somewhere to move to once they gain a few levels.

When my worlds get to around 400 to 500 or more subscribers, the number of those with no home starts to rise, and once it gets to around 100 or so, satisfaction levels and overall buzz turns negative.

I have yet to figure out what the key factors are with this metric. Putting 4 or 5 towns in each zone does not seem to help. Also tried putting a spawn point in each zone and connected it to each town in that zone. Again, it does not seem to have any impact.

Has anyone else seen any correlation that would be helpful here?
