My only problem with it is the way the water merges with the terrain. Are you going to implement any effects to make it look nicer?
And do you think you’ll add normal mapping or something to the terrain to make it look more dynamic? I think it looks a little too flat and tame.
And finally, ever think of using a toon shader for lighting the terrain? ’cause the sky is a little cartoony, and maybe you can get a pleasing style my using less realistic lighting.
Another note: If there was a bright light source (like the sun) behind those mountains, with a little bit of HDR… ah that would have been a great scene.
I agree about the edge between the water and terrain. I haven’t really figured out what to do about that; the messiness you’re seeing is plants poking up through the surface of the water along the bank.. but it’s ugly, I agree. The water’s a lot better now than it was before (not pictured anywhere), but I’m still not really happy with it. I’ll have to think about it some more.
Regardless, I’m trying not to put too much detail into the terrain; it’s really intended just to set the stage for the rest of the world. Once I’ve got buildings and characters in the world, then I’ll decide whether I need more visual detail in the terrain. I just want to be careful to avoid having the terrain upstage the real world content. :)

Very nice sky effect!
