I venture to suggest that this is as much a QA failure as a development problem. Microsoft *really* ought to test anything submitted for XBLA on a reasonably sized standard definition TV, and say "No, go fix it" to anything that fails to respect the safe zone and/or uses smaller fonts than are readable. It's rather like the problems that arise in PC gaming when the developers have access to the latest hardware; there arises an assumption that the bleeding edge is all that counts, which distinctly stuffs those of us who have effectively fallen off the back of the blade...

Ah, yes, you're exactly right. I've now found the scores which I finally assumed were outside the safe frame last night. They're right square in the middle of the screen, just being drawn as tiny grey text on a noisily textured pale blue background. Yay for usability.

For reference, I found the font on Lost Cities too small for comfortable viewing on my 720p screen...

I was also alerted to the fact that my ongoing score was a *option* that I had to turn on; by default it doesn't show the total score for you, only the pile-by-pile scores. Which is an odd default, if you ask me. So its possible you aren't missing what you think you are...
